1. Confirm your races

Mayor · 1 seat
Council · 4 seats
SD53 — Okanagan Falls / Apex trustee · 1 seat
Officially elected by acclamation; no vote is required for this seat.

Your address and eligibility determine which races apply. Confirm rural, trustee and any special-service boundaries with the election office.

First election for the new District: one mayor and four councillors on October 17. Incorporation takes effect November 6, 2026.

The RDOS Notice of Election by Voting confirms three mayoral and eleven council candidates. Stable candidate names retain the fuller forms from the earlier election-officer listing. SD53 TEA 1 covers the applicable portions of RDOS Areas D and I, including Okanagan Falls and Apex Mountain Resort; confirm your eligibility with the election office.

First municipal council: office and boundary context

Okanagan Falls elects its first mayor and council on October 17, 2026. The municipality takes effect November 6, 2026.

Earlier RDOS, school-board or other public service belongs to the office and jurisdiction held at that time. It is not a past term or voting record on the new Okanagan Falls municipal council.

The new municipality and the surrounding RDOS electoral area are different voting jurisdictions. Check your address in the official RDOS lookup; a community name alone does not establish eligibility.

Yes. Eligible voters can register immediately before voting. Ask your election office what to bring.

B.C. Local Government Act, section 68
